Grove House Bed & Breakfast - Booking Terms and Conditions

All bookings accepted by Grove House are subject to these terms and conditions, completion of the booking form indicates acceptance by you and all persons in your party, of these terms and conditions.

Booking Procedure

To make a booking you should first check Grove House Bed & Breakfast is available for the dates you require by contacting us using our Enquiry Form on our website, email to info@grove-guesthouse.com or telephone 01969 622 569. If the required room(s) is available, we will contact you to make a Provisional Booking, which we will hold for 3 days after which we shall release if not confirmed.

Should you confirm your reservation we shall send your booking confirmation by email or post and you will then become liable for payment on departure.

No person under the age of 18 shall stay in the accommodation without parent or guardian.

Cancellation

If you alter your travel plans, please advise Grove House immediately, whereupon the booking can be cancelled by mutual agreement.

Cancellation must be made by 6.00pm, three days prior to the arrival date, either by contacting us by email or phone after which time bookings will be subject to 100% of the first nights accommodation tariff.

No Shows will be subject to 100% of the first nights accommodation tariff.

We recommend when booking any accommodation, holiday insurance is taken out.

Arrival and Departure

After parking in our private car park found at the rear of the guest house, then walk round to the main front door. If you require help with you luggage then please ask.

Your room will be available from 3:00pm. However, if this time isn't convenient or you anticipate a late arrival, then please contact us.

On arrival you will be provided with a complimentary drink and a piece of homemade cake.

After registering you then have independent access to your room at all times.

For the convenience of in-coming guests we require rooms to be vacated by 10:30am on the day of your departure. Later departure times may however be possible on request. If you require assistance with your luggage please ask.

Damages and Breakages

You are asked to leave the accommodation clean and tidy. In the event of damage to Guest House property, we reserve the right to make a charge to replace, repair or professionally clean the item(s) concerned.

There will be a charge of £15.00 for lost keys.

Pets

We are unable to accommodate dogs or other pets, however guide dogs are accepted.

Smoking

Our guest house is a Non-smoking establishment and NOT allowed inside the property. In the event of non-compliance a charge will be levied for professional cleaning of the room.

Liabilities

In the unlikely event that we are forced to cancel your booking due to circumstances beyond our control, we will attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If suitable accommodation is not available or unacceptable to you then you will not be liable for any further payments to us. Compensation, expenses costs or other sums of any description will not be paid in such circumstances by us.

We do not accept any liability for damage to your property or injury to you (or any other members of your party) whilst on our premises unless caused by the negligence by us. Cars left in our car park are parked at your own risk.

Data

Any data collected as a result of your booking will be stored in accordance with the provisions of current Data Protection legislation.
